Saint-Gobain's ONESuit Pro wins certification

Saint-Gobain's ONESuit Pro has earned EN certification from the British Standards Institute. The certification is recognized in 30 member countries of the European Union and Asia.
ONESuit Pro is the only hazmat suit certified in the U.S. to both the National Fire Protection Association 1991 hazmat standard and the 1994 CBRN standard, according to the company. European certification requires testing not only of the fabric, but of the whole product, including seam type, glove, boot, respirator interfaces and closure systems.
The flame-resistant suit earned EN 943-2 Type 1a standard certification, which applies to protection against liquid and gaseous chemicals.
